Minecraft block gradient generator

Pick two or more anchor blocks and the generator finds a chain of blocks between them by texture color, so the transition reads as smooth — a gradient editor, but with blocks. Anchors slide along the bar, noise blurs the seams between segments, unwanted blocks can be excluded. Preview in 3D, export to .litematic (Litematica) or .schem (WorldEdit), or publish it to the library with a recipe so anyone can reopen the gradient in the generator and tweak it.

How it works

1. Set the anchor blocks: click the bar to add one, drag markers anywhere — the end anchors move too.
2. Pick a palette: Survival (no commands needed) or All blocks; exclude blocks you don't want, from the list or with the eyedropper in 3D.
3. Noise blurs the seams between segments, from crisp steps to a random mix; the seed changes the pattern.
4. Wall or floor, along or across, thickness and segment length up to 128 blocks.
5. Download .litematic or .schem, or publish the gradient on Schemalook — the post gets an “Open in the generator” button.

FAQ

How are the in-between blocks chosen?

By the average texture color in OKLab space: between two anchors the generator finds the chain of blocks with the smallest color steps. Ores and busy textures are left out so the strip doesn't look noisy.

What's the difference between the palettes?

Survival only uses blocks you can mine or craft without commands: concrete, terracotta, wool, stone, wood. All blocks adds the rest, including ones unobtainable in survival.

What does noise do?

It randomly mixes neighboring blocks at segment boundaries. At zero the boundaries are crisp; higher values mix deeper, which looks more natural on a big wall. The seed picks a specific pattern and can be changed.

Is it free, no sign-up?

Yes. Everything is computed in the browser and nothing is uploaded. An account is only needed to publish to the library.
