Minecraft pixel art from any image
Drop a png, jpg or webp and get a block schematic: a wall viewed head-on or a floor. Every pixel is matched to real block textures, and busy textures are avoided so the picture stays readable. Preview in 3D, export to .litematic (Litematica) or .schem (WorldEdit), or publish it to the library.
How it works
- Drag an image onto the page — by default one pixel is one block, and you can scale it down.
- Pick a palette: Survival (everything obtainable without commands) or All blocks, plus concrete, wool, terracotta, wood or stone sets.
- Choose the Minecraft version — blocks newer than it are left out.
- Wall or floor, optional dithering for smooth gradients.
- Download .litematic or .schem, or publish the build on Schemalook.
FAQ
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG and WebP up to 10 MB and 4096 px per side. Transparent areas become air.
How big can the pixel art be?
Up to 512 blocks per side keeping the aspect ratio; the preview is capped at about 220 thousand blocks.
How is this different from map art?
Pixel art is looked at directly, with colors from block textures. Map art is drawn on a map item using the game's fixed map color table — there is a separate mode for that.
Is it free, no sign-up?
Yes. Everything is computed in the browser and the image never leaves your device. An account is only needed to publish to the library.
